Download the Intel Mac Mini 802.11 wireless driver for your MacBook Pro. This solves the issue with connecting to 802.1x secured wireless networks. Apparently this does not work with LEAP connections. Also, this has been made irrelevent by the 10.4.6 update. But check it out anyway if you want.
